I recently defragmented one of my VMs running Windows Server 2019, and I compacted the disk space afterwards. Both actions were performed in VMware Workstation. Afterwards, the machine continues to boot in repair mode, and no matter what I do, it continues to reboot on the repair screen.
I did have snapshots on the image when I performed the defragmentation, which after some research I now know is a bad idea. I deleted the snapshots after the fact to see if that would have an effect, but it did not.
Any suggestions for repair? I realize I made some mistakes, so if I need to accept my fate and start from scratch so be it, but I wanted to check before doing unnecessary work.
Logs are attached.
Thank You
