Shared Folders - Netdrive

Hello all,

We are using VMware® Workstation 16 Pro 16.2.5 build-20904516 at our company.

The host PC is connected to network drives, which I would like to mount in my VM. With most of them this works without problems, but not with me.

I would have to delete or add the network drives at every restart to be able to select them in the shared folder options.

Do you have a solution for me?

Is there a reason you don't just connect to the networked shared drives inside your VM the exact same way you do on your host?  SAMBA/CIFS is a much more robust network file sharing resource mechanism than the VMware Shared Folders feature.
