Runaway Keyboard

I'm using Virtual Machines as part of some testing but I've noticed that my keyboard is being very repetitive with its characters ie if I type George I actually get Geeeeeeerge.

I've changed the keyboard but still same issue. Others in the office are getting the same.

I've increased the memory allocation but still same problem.

Has anyone else seen this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?
