Problem in writing on disk "Write Same Failed" in workstation 9?

Hello All,

I have installed OpenStack on a single node VM, I have pre-allocated 60 GB Hard disk , for fast performance. But when I'm running few task like writing to disk, It is showing following error on the VM screen "SDA1: Write Same Failed. Manually zeroing". I have worked with workstation, but never got this error.

How can we identify and solve the following issue?

Aside from testing the Host's HDD to make sure it's not failing, I'd suggest using Google and search the error message as there are lots of hits and not necessarily having to do with VMware!
