I just purchased a MS Sculpt keyboard and mouse combination and come to find out that the mouse scrolling does not work properly within my virtual machines. I have attempted many different things including re-installation of the VMWare tools, remove (repeatedly) the drivers within the virtual machine and the host. Re-installation of the mouse/keyboard software on both the host and the virtual machine. You name it, I have tried it. I have even messed with the Workstation preferences, but am not able to get the mouse to scroll properly within the virtual machine. The mouse works great with the host, but not within the virtual machines.
Has anyone else ran into this? Any suggestions on what else to look at?
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
