We use several instances of VMWare Workstation for desktop engineering and collaboration. One of the drawbacks to using the product is that the vm's appear to be in private mode, whereby multiple users cannot shadow a running vm like is the case for VM Server. So far we've been forced to use vnc for this type of activity but it also has its limitations because if one person has a vm open but not running, other users can not access the vm without receiving the "take ownership" dialog.
That brings me to my question... Does VMWare have a mgmt console or product to bring together mulitple instances of VM Workstation?
