Just wanted to give a shout out to VMware and this slick CTRL-R feature.

Without this great feature, and the lack of confirmation I would have never mistakenly deleted all the work I was doing for the past hours!

I've looked around and found no way to disable this hotkey.

Does anyone have any ideas for sorting this problem?

Hi
CTRL + R restarts the VM - displaying a message box asking for confirmation.
If you do not see that message box it means that some time ago you clicked "Do not show this again ..."

If you want to see the message again - locate your preferences.ini and set

hint.vmui.restart = "false" - that is what you have now to
hint.vmui.restart = "true"

path to preferences.ini:
C:\Users\elvispresley\AppData\Roaming\VMware on win7
