Fullscreen Toolbar Position

VMWare Workstation 7.1.4 build-385536

Ubuntu Host, 2.6.32-32-generic

When in fullscreen mode, the default position for the drop-down menu is top centre of the screen - it looks like a couple of pixels high and ~800 or so pixels high

Is there any way to change the size / position of the area you need to hit to get the toolbar to pop into view?

I'm shifting my desktop to a hosted VM, and the window manager I use is easier if the top edge of the screen isn't interfered with.

Are there any other options for eliminating the mouse driven behavior in this regard altogether, by key combinations for instance?

Whoops, I see it's a checkbox in prefences - works a treat for me.
