I updated my Windows 8 machine, it blue screened, now I can't open my VM that I had open at the time of the blue screen.
Attached is the message I got from VMware Workstation 10.
Look out for *.lck files inside the directory of the VM - delete them all.
Also delete directories named *.lck
Then try again - if it still fails we need more details
