Can not access internet on my VM machines

hi,

I'm on VMware workstation 12 (latest version).  I had this issue in the past, it is easy to correct but I can not remember 'what' I did!

On all my VM machines, right click on it, setting, Network Adapter, ...are all set to Bridged: Connected directly to physical network and the box below, "Replicate physical network connection state"..IS checked.

This has always worked, I can use file explorer to access the drives and hit the internet fine.

I did an update software, to the latest version....now I get no internet and cannot see the drives on my network.

This is some global setting in the VMware to turn this back on...I forget where.

Please advise.

Thanks James

Hi Janning,

If you don't have any customized vmnets configured, I would suggest you to restore the network settings to defaults.

Here are the steps:

1. Click Edit -> Virtual Network Editor.

2. Click Restore Defaults.

Can you try to see whether it works?

Thanks!
