VMWare Workstation 17 Player For Windows Cannot Expand Disk Size

I am unable to expand the disk size of my VMWare Workstation 17 player (a macOS on a Windows PC).

When I try to do so, I prompt the message:

'There is not enough space on the file system for the selected operation.'

Since running MacOS on anything other than Apple hardware is a violation of their EULA, you cannot discuss this topic here within the VMTN Communities.
