VM Player v17 on Linux Mint

Hello,

I'm just started using VMware Workstation player..

I built a few (4) VM's on Linux Mint a few weeks ago (WIn10, Win11 and Mintv21).
Overnight, suddenly I can see only one of the VM's in the overview.
I verified the locations of the VM's and they are all still on the hard-drive location.
I recently installed backup software (backintime) and started using it but I don't think that may have impacted the VM's.
I'm not sure where the information are stored that is filling the VM main window with the listings of the VM's.
Is it '$HOME/.vmware'?
If I could identify the correct location and files, perhaps I could do a restore from my backup.

Or is there another way to rebuild the listing of VM's?
Is there a documentation about the files & locations on Linux?

Any Help is much appreciated.
TIA

Have you tried File > Open a virtual machine , browse to the location of the .vmx file for one of your "missing VMs", and then select it for opening? The VM should be returned to the Player GUI.
