Over the past year, we have been experiencing issues while trying to create virtual machines through Workstation v.16. When creating a virtual machine, our students receive the following error:
Currently, I create images with MDT. The process that I have found to get around this error is to create an image with an older version of Workstation and then install the latest version during the deployment of the image.
I have also seen this fixed by editing the .vmx file entry "vmci0.present = "TRUE" to "FALSE" but this is something I would like to avoid.
Has anyone come across this issue, or does anyone know a better way around it?
