First post here, so I hope I've provided the correct details:
VMWare Player 2.5.1 build-126130 on Ubuntu 8.10. Kernel version is 2.6.27-11-generic.
Guest is Fedora 10. Kernel version is 2.6.27.15-170.2.24.fc10.i686
Tools (via 7.8.4-126130.i386.rpm) are installed in the guest.
The following processes are running in the guest:
/usr/lib/vmware-tools/sbin32/vmware-guestd --background /var/run/vmware-guestd.pid
/usr/lib/vmware-tools/bin/xorg71/vmware-user -blockFd 3
Shared directories and bidirectional copy/paste are all working fine.
However, when I shut down the guest, I see the following message:
Blocking file system
Can anyone advise what is missing/misconfigured?
