Passwordless SSH does not work for ESXi 7 build 19482537

I am following the passwordless SSH configuration instructions from VMmark_Users_Guide_3.1.1_2022-02-01.pdf2, but I am still prompted for the password when I attempt to SSH from the PrimeClient. I had a previous build on one of the SUT ESXi hosts and the configuration worked, but after the ESXi upgrade it does not work. Is there some configuration in ESXi 7 build 19482537 that is preventing this?

Hi Patelch,

Yes, this is a known issue that recently came to our attention. We are currently working on an update to the VMmark User’s Guide that will allow you to set up passwordless SSH on ESXi 7.0 U3d. As soon as possible we will be releasing this update to the VMmark User's Guide.
