Can't install VMRC on ARM64 Windows - No suitable hcmon driver

I've been attempting to install VMRC on an ARM64 Windows 10, which has x86 emulation, however VMRC attempts so install a driver (hcmon), which cannot be emulated.

Since I doubt we can expect an ARM64 version of the driver anytime soon, is there any way to bypass the driver and install VMRC without it?

Hi,

I've just managed to get this to install VMware-VMRC-12.0.2-19968993 on an arm-based Surface Pro 9. I was messing about a lot (mostly running the downloaded file with /a), so I don't know if it's repeatable, but I eventually did it by running:

VMware-VMRC-12.0.2-19968993.exe /x

to extract it to my %TEMP% folder.

I just ran the MSI file in there (it was in a subfolder called {BB5D80D4-AC3C-4B81-8F2C-1B24E29C7179}~setup), accepted all the defaults, and it installed ok.

I've not tested it thoroughly, but it launches and gives me a remote connection to my ESXi VMs.
