how to extend the vSphere Client GUI

sir wat i want to do is introduce sm s/w services in the GUI as we already have the h/w services provided .

now der r 2 options for extending --

1) Script Based 2) C# API

do both of these work on windows platform....and if yes sir can you tell me the tools to use

While in theory it might be possible to create script-based plugins, I think it will be a lot easier if you take the C# path.

I think that I have a pirated version of VMware installed on my system.... now even if I develop a plug-in...would I be able to integrate it...or use it....
