VM's event logs

Sorry if this has been already answered. I am trying to get the VM's event logs using vSpeher api.

Could you someone tell or point me how to get it?

Thanks,

Senthil

Which event logs do you mean?

There are vSphere events that can be retrieved by the Get-VIEvent cmdlet, use the VM(s) on the Entity parameter.

And then there are some event logs produced by specific guest OS running on the VM.

For a Windows OS you can use the Get-EventLog cmdlet. But note that this runs against the guest OS (local or remote)
