We have a solution that requires us to move 10 out of 13 drives from multiple systems to other VMs while preserving their SCSI ID and Controller configurations ( 0:1, 0:2, 1:1 ) ect.. . This started as a manual process as it was just 3 servers. This requirement has grown to where it needs automation. Everything about this is straight forward with the exception of preserving the controller ID order. I found an old post on how to pull the IDs, but not how to apply them while mounting preexisting drives. If I just had that last bit, I would be able to work backwards from there. Can anyone assist?
