Get reports from vSphere; disk usage during day-time only

I would like to gemerate a per-vm report on disk-usage average for peak hours of my company (10:00 -15:00) each day.

These hours are the most important hours for my users, so it's important for me to get this data and detect servers eating up my SAN during the middle of the day. It's a bit sad that there is no filter-options when using the vSphere client, e.g. looking a disk-usage last two week filtered by work-hours or similar would really been a great feature.

So is this scriptable?

What exactly do you want to see in the disk-usage report ?

Is that on vdisks or the datastore level ?

You can find an example on how to pull a report for business hours in my PowerCLI & vSphere statistics – Part 2 – Come together post.
