NSX-V Pool Status DOWN

Hello,

I have virtual server Pool status shows DOWN "CRITICAL - Plugin timed out " anyone knows what is that means am using ICMP for monitoring and when I change monitoring to NONE status change to UP.

Hi,

You might have a firewall rule preventing icmp to the pool member. Remember that the source address for the ping is the IP address on the EDGE.

FW in turned off  and did double check that

Can you ping the pool member from the edge?

It might be a firewall on the pool member itself?

Yes i can i have tried that and it was succeed ,i also did check from server side and it was listening to the port i have assigned on the VIP ,
