Syntax error on line 1 of the VMX (Windows 7)

Error- cannot launch Fusion Windows 7 VM anymore.

Help!

Log files zipped enclosed

Also, now when trying to quit Fusion, I need to force quit.

It looks like the vmware.log file did not upload correctly. Please post (attach) the VM's latest vmware.log from which the .VM's .vmx can usually be rebuilt.

This is what I could get, as starting the program (and ending it) is slow (or requires force quit)...

The attached "Windows_7.vmx.zip" file contains a new "Windows 7.vmx" file created from the supplied vmware.log file.

With VMware Fusion closed, unzip (double-click) the attached "Windows_7.vmx.zip" file and replace the original "Windows 7.vmx" file with the one here.

Please backup the existing .vmx file and replace it with the attached one.

hello,

i have problem with my win7.vmx. i cannot boot my win 7 in vmware.

the error shows syntax error on line 1. anyone can help me. this is my log file i attached with.

With VMware Workstation (or at least the VM's tab) closed, backup the existing .vmx file and replace it with the one attached to this post.
