Super annoying $Recycle.Bin issues...

Hi,

I have Mirrored Folders turned on and I cannot get rid of that annoying $RECYCLE.BIN. Even hiding it using the whole setfile trick it still appears on the windows desktop. Deleting it there and hitting refresh brings it back.

Any fix for this planned anytime soon?

Version of Fusion? Version of Windows? Do you really mean it's showing up in the guest desktop, or did you mean the host desktop?

Any Thoughts?

Acknowledgement that this is a bug and I am not insane would be nice...

I do see the same thing, but am not sure of the bug status.

Yes, I agree. I wished these folders wouldn't show up on MacOS.

But I have to say it really isn't a bug. It would be a feature request.

A feature request, to not show hidden files? Even if you have OSX and Windows to set to not show hidden files?

Nawh, it's a bug. Smiley Happy

I am in exactly the same boat. This is a huge downfall of using Shared or Mirrored folders. Why is this problem so hard to find solutions for? Does every Fusion user who shares folders just live with these annoying $RECYCLE.BIN folders all over their host? Anyone found a fix/workaround? Please?
