Running M/S Office in Fusion XP Machine (new Mac Pro)

Office 2000 installs and runs BUT it will not run updates; specifically, sr1a which is needed to get the other patches (I'm using legal registered stuff). I talked to Microsoft support and they wouldn't help but dropped hints that they knew the solution and it could be found here, in the forums. The error message is the "sr1patch has invalid size" Microsoft said the problem was with how Fusion handled patches.

Anybody know anything about this?

Thanks. The problem was a missing M/S update service pack that they removed from their servers, but I found it on an ftp site and fixed my problems.

I use Fusion because of VB6 programing, and it works great!
