My VM is not keeping the correct time. Unsure as to why?

Host: iMac running OSX Yosemite ver. 10.10.1

VM: Windows 7 SP1, 32 bit

VMware Fusion Pro ver: 7.1.0

Hello,

Has anyone had difficulty with a vm not keeping accurate time?  Specifically, I occasionally minimize my vm and/ or pause it.  When I again play the vm, upon it starting I notice the time is delayed.  Any thoughts?

Thanks for using Fusion, have you enabled Synchronize time under VM Settings -> Advanced? And make sure you have VMware Tools installed.

By default, the time will be synchronized every minute.
