Moving large Virtual Machines

I have a vm created in Fusion on a Mac. I need to move it to a PC. When I attempt to copy the vm I get an "Error Code 0" and the copy fails. I have tried this function on smaller vm's and they seem to copy fine. This particular vm is 42+Gb. Help?

Is the drive you're copying to Fat32?

It has a 4GB file size limit, so you'd get that error if it were the case.

The workaround is to format the drive as either NTFS or HFS+ (Mac OS Extended Journaled).

You could go about converting the disk to split into 2GB chunks also.

Well, never did move the VM.  Just stayed on the Mac platform as this was the easiest and as it turns out, the more cost effective solution.
