How do you get Digital Certificates to work correctly under Fusion 8.1.1?

I am running Windows 10 VM on a fully loaded iMac running Fusion 8.1.1.  We do government work and our digital certificates do not validate when running on our Virtual Machine.  They work fine on stand alone Windows machines.  In checking with the Certificate Authority, IdenTrust, they indicate that many of the Certificate Holders are experiencing the same problem.  Is there a special setting in Fusion or Windows that we need to check to get our digital certificates to work?

Hi,

There is nothing special for virtual machines to work with certificates, it is pretty much all done at the OS level.

I use certificates all the time (and if you connect to a https website you do too)

You need to be a bit more specific..

Are this client certificates?

Do you need a smartcard with it ... ?

Btw, did you follow up with Michael Roy on this as he asked?
