Fusion 7 Windows XP Pro : Cannot run 16-bit app... filepath problem

Hello

I have Fusion 7.1.1 with Windows XP Pro  on Mac OS X 10.9.6. Trying to run an app

The error I get is: "Can't run 16-bit Windows program"

"Cannot find file \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Desktop\fulldemo.exe (or one of its components) Check to ensure that the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available"

I discover that Windows XP Pro will do this if the the file path has a space (also maybe a hyphen) in it.

I have the .exe file on my desktop.  How may I change the filepath to remove the space to remove "Shared Folder" (or the space there-in) or the "vmware-host" with the hyphen.

If there any other perspectives or solution to this problem I will appreciate

Thanks

OK this turned out to be a dumb question.

All my other apps on the desktop have a similar filepath (ie with the trouble "Shared Folder") work just fine, except for fulldemo.exe.

I just moved that app to the C folder, and the filepath can be found by Windows XP, and the program runs fine

Sorry
