I was looking at my recent Windows builds in Fusion. I built these guests as NVMe but they have our ancient friend the 82371AB IDE Controller and the LSI SAS adapter active. I see an "overabundance" of system devices as well like 32 PCI Express Root ports and 75 Generic Buses. Why are these devices even present if I started as NVMe and SATA for the CDROM?
