'A disk read error occurred' and sending ctrl+del will not restore.

Mac OS X 10.5.3 with Windows Vista. The system seems locked in this error. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling Fusion with no help.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your response. My MacBook Pro lost power at the time because of a faulty energy management board and shut down at the time. It has now been repaired on warranty. I ended up deleting Vista and reinstalling it. I did not have much to lose.

I removed VMware from the computer and then increased the hardrive memory to 500 GB.  I have not yet replace VM onto the computer.  Still feel a little burned by the experience.  I found that VM had a lot to offer over Boot.
