I have tried it on various versions of VCF 4 including 4.3/4.4 and VCF 5.0 without any issue.

It just removes the AVN inventory from SDDC manager and nothing else, the AVN segments still need to be removed manually from NSX.

Just need to take a snapshot of SDDC Manager before running to be safe.

Should be done by VMware Support as far as I know.

The script in this KB can be used to remove AVN from SDDC Manager, use the erase option and try with dryrun option first.

Typically I would suggest using this if an incorrect value was used to create the AVNs, like incorrect VLAN if using VLAN backed  segments for example.

Take a snapshot of SDDC manager before running the script.

Is this safe to run on anything else than 4.1? KB Last Updated: 5/11/2022.
