vCenter Operations Manager detected no=plugins

When I try to go through the initial setup wizard I receive the "vCenter Operations Manager detected no plug-ins"

When I check to see the available plug-ins in vcenter, there is nothing related to vcenter ops.

I went thought the guide, and I am a little confused on how I get the plugin so I can get past the stupid wizard.

Thanks

What is this initial setup wizard you are referring to? When you register vCenter Operations Advanced from the admin console, it should automatically add the plugin to vCenter. Did the registration succeed?

The initial Setup Wizard

I put in the IP of the UI interface

A wizard comes up, I walk though it

It says loading plugins

Then it says vCenter Operations Manager detected no plug-ins

I am using the main administrator accout.

I launching the vcenter server from the vCenter server itself

I confirmed the tools were set to sync with host.

I finally got it to work.

I had the VI Client up and running but not logged in.

I closed it an it registered with no issues.

to shed some light on the issue:

the message "vcops detected no plugins" is related to the fact that no previous installation of vcops 1.0 or ciq 1.5 were found registered to that vc.

if such were to be found, vcops will list them and ask you whether you want to import thata from them.
