Do i need to deploy 2 Vapps for vcenter and view ?

Previously i was using vcenter operation manager. I upgraded view package recently and now i cant see previous vcenter settings anymore.

Hi mthiha,

a vCOPS Unit (vApp containing two VMs) can attach to a couple of vCenter Servers. A View Environment uses a vCenter Server. Within a vCOPS Unit there is no build in Connector to connect to a View Environment. You can install a View Adapter for vCOPS in a vCOPS Unit. This Adapter needs to get configured to collect data from the View Environment. No, you don't need to deploy 2 vApps for vCenter and View the one vCOPS vApp can collect Data from View if you have installed and configured the View Adapter that you have installed.

Thank you.

I just installed completely. There were whole lots of steps i missed.

There are 2 url to manage vcenter and view seperately. I was confused initially.

to manage vcenter: https://<UI-VM>/vcops-vsphere/

to manage view : https://<UI-VM>/vcops-custom/
