What is considered high for Virtual Disk Read Latency (ms) and Virtual Disk Write Latency (ms)?

Hi vSphere community,

I know the answer is often dependent on the environment, but, what would you consider to be high values for Virtual Disk Read Latency (ms) and Virtual Disk Write Latency (ms)?

These are metrics in vCOPS that are available in All Metrics, Virtual Disk.

Thank you!

As per the workload best practices. For general workloads.. <20ms is the hard threshold and "bad" for just about any workload, but I like to see it <=10ms. For databases, you want as low as possible .. <5 for prod/bca workloads, but it depends on your dataset and what you're storing on disk vs in memory,
