Vcops Report Question

I was looking in VM Average And Peak Storage Access Latency Report.

can you please explain me what is Throughput(Average) in and Throughput(Peak) in section ?

For the period of the report you've run...e.g. 1 month.. it'll show the avg disk io throughput and peak io throughput.
