VCOPS what-if scenario view does not change after running

I'm in VCOPS and looking at the Planning, Summary view.

I can see capacity remaining, etc...

I run the "What-if" scenaria to see how the changes will affect the summary.

When I run it, nothing changes in my view. All numbers for capacity do not change.

Just wondering how I can even use that feature if it does not display any changes.

Anyone else have that happen.

as far as I remember, there should be a link somewhere to the right of the view, where you choose whether to see "real" data or projected/what if.

Also, make sure you're looking into the right view, as not all are affected.

After you run the 'what-if', the current view won't change. You need to switch the view to a trend or capacity view to see that scenario you've defined.

Not all views support/include 'what-if' scenarios.

When a view does support a 'what-if' scenario, it will be indicated on the right hand side next to the table/chart as configuration #- or something similar.

After you run the 'what-if' scenario, try the virtual machine capacity and cluster capacity views.. they include the 'what-if' scenarios.
