Seeking Beta Participants for VMware vROps Management Pack for Cisco UCS

Hello vCOPS community members:

Blue Medora is seeking product beta feedback from interested VMware vROps admins responsible for managing mission-critical workloads running on Cisco UCS infrastructure.

The beta will primarily include design and operational feedback on the Blue Medora vROps Management Pack for Cisco UCS.

The Management Pack will require vROps v6 and above.  Data Collection for Cisco UCS servers will be via the Cisco UCS Director and Cisco UCS Manager SDKs and will not utilize SNMP.

The initial Beta drop will be available for beta evaluators roughly 6 weeks after VMware vROPs v6 GAs.

Hello vCOPS community members:

We will be releasing the first Beta release of vCOps 5.8.x as well as vROps v6.0 Management Packs for Cisco UCS in February.

A number of folks from this forum have expressed interest in participating in the Beta and you should have heard back from our Beta Manager on the program.

We are still seeking a few additional customers will to provide technical feedback who are leveraging both vCOps 5.x and vROps 6.0 to manage workloads that are running on Cisco UCS.

What are the thoughts around licencing this product and how long is the beta stage anticipated to be?

Licensing has not been finalized. 

We anticipate the Beta will run from Mid February to early/mid March with general availability shortly thereafter.
