I have a vmware horizon 8 environment.

How can i monitor this using vrealise operations manager 8.6.4?

Do i need to install an agent on each vdi?

What version of Horizon 8?  vROps 8.6.4 is only compatible with 2.1.1 of the Horizon mgmt pack, but 2.1.1 is only compatible with Horizon version 2206 or older per here:

Hi,

To monitor a VMware Horizon 8 environment using vRealize Operations Manager 8.6.4, you typically use the VMware vRealize Operations for Horizon adapter. This adapter allows you to collect and analyze data from your Horizon environment without needing to install agents on each VDI desktop. Instead, it integrates with Horizon to pull metrics and information directly from your Horizon servers and desktop pools.

You need to install the vRealize Operations for Horizon adapter on your vRealize Operations Manager instance and configure it to connect to your Horizon Connection Server(s). This setup provides comprehensive monitoring and analytics capabilities for your Horizon environment, including VDI performance, session details, and health statuses, directly within vRealize Operations Manager.

In summary, you do not need to install an agent on each VDI for monitoring with vRealize Operations Manager 8.6.4; you just need to set up and configure the Horizon adapter.
