any ideas?
Hi,
Take a look at http://ict-freak.nl/2012/04/05/vcops-5-http-status-404/
to see if that helps
Many tx
Thanks, but that doesn't appear to be the problem. There is lots of space left on all drives on the servers associated with VCOPS.
Hi,
Noticed this thread related to a page 404 loading vCops (from about halfway on where the chap starts reporting a page 404)
http://communities.vmware.com/thread/345082
what about some more info
which UI is that (vsphere or custom)? What version do you have?
can you access admin UI - have you tried restarting the services from there?
have you checked log files.
The UI is vsphere
Version 5 (not sure of build number and cannot get in to check)
It's a windows box and cannot get into the UI, unless there is another way?
Tried the xml validator and all ok
the administrative UI should be available at https://<IP>/admin
from there you can restart services, generate a disgonsotics bundle, etc.
I have always read in documentation that https://<IP>/admin should work, but it never has so I just pre-sumed we we're on a later version (5)
that no longer applied to.
That doesn't work:
type Status report
message /admin
description The requested resource (/admin) is not available.
You are using the vApp or the Windows install of vC Ops?
windows install
There is no Admin UI and no vSphere UI with the Windows install - that is only available with the vApp.
