I am trying to migrate some of our middleware performance monitoring to vRealize, and we are using the API to push custom metrics to the monitored applications.
However, I stumbled upon a funny problem, to which I apparently cannot find the answer in vmware's documentation:
We have a lot of "counter" metrics like "TotalNumber of Requests" which grows continuously and I actually need "Number of Requests per Minute".
So I was expecting that vrOps is able to calculate this delta and place it on a graph. The formula is quite simple, however apparently you cannot do this in superMetrics
(CurrentValue - PreviousValue)/Interval
is there another solution to this?
