All, im trying to track down the conf steps for balanced mode and the docs dont see to find the term balanced mode or balanced profile. Any clues on this please?

Since I have just changed the value, how will I know it has been completed? My two vcenters have been in the sandbox for months. What will be my clues that metrics arent being collected for objects?

jddias - used vcenter operations generated metric selector group, then chose Full Set - Metric Count. See a drop of 600,000 metrics.

Yep, that's one way to tell.  Analytics should run quicker, too.

I don't know why it's not in the manual, I haven't looked actually.  I know it's in the release notes.
