How do I suppress alarms for ESXi hosts that are in maintenance mode? Our ticketing system is getting tickets when we are going through the process of removing datastores from a cluster where the hosts are in maintenance (All paths down) during our decommissioning process.
In the bigger picture, I'd like alarms suppressed for all hosts where the following screenshot occurs, automatically re-enabling alarms when maintenance mode is exited.
The specific log file will always track it.
Is your ticketing system getting alarmed from vROPS , if yes then you can go ahead and disable that alarm from the policy used on the object in this case ESXi host

Thank you for your reply, however, I'm looking for a built in config way of turning off both vrops and loginsight alerts on hosts in maintenance mode. I don't want a make work project for our team members, nor do I want to accidentally forget to turn them back on.
Thank you for your prompt response.
