I have the following scenario and am reading different things as to whether VDP would be able to solve it.
VMWare Test environment with a number of VM's
2 separate LUN's on different SAN's one for running environment the other to store gold images of the environment.
Community who will be running and supporting environment are not full administrators.
Am going to be using orchestrator to automate re-deployment of machines, rollback of snapshots etc.
Periodically i need to backup all the machines to the external SAN, this will be after a large update etc.
Can i achieve this using Orchestrator and VDP
Basically a Manual backup Job on all VM's that is invoked by Orchestrator, i am reading conflicting reports about whether orchestrator and VDP are integrated?
Any advice appreciated
