Domain join automation for Windows VM

Any quick solution to Join a Windows Guest OS based VM to Active Directory domain using vRO?

I know I am asking a stupid question but I am kind of desperate.

Little more details.

- vRO 7.3

- Windows Guest is Server 2012 R2

- Target environment where Windows is being deployed is MS Azure.

- AD is in my customer's ON Prem infra.

Have tried few things like Run Once script or Logon script without much success.

Deployment of this windows VM is happening via vRO workflow which is being called from an XaaS blueprint and I simply want it to join AD the moment it finishes deployment.

Any inputs will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Quickest thing would probably be to use the guest script manager and run a PowerShell script in the guest passing the AD domain name as an argument, then reboot.
