Changing a Custom Composite Type

I have created a custom composite type in a configuration element to contain details of my vcenters to use in a template syncing orchestrator workflow I have, but now realise I need to add a new field to this type, I cant find where to do that. Is it possible?

For example my type consists of:

(VcenterName:string,DatacenterName:String,...) nut I want to add a new field of TemplateName:string

Try the following:

  1. Open your configuration element for editing and click on the composite type definition in 'type' column. This should open 'Select a type' dialog.
  2. In the filter edit box at the top of the dialog, type the name of your composite type, select it in the dialog, and click 'Define composite type' link at the bottom of the dialog. This should open 'Define composite type' dialog with your composite type fields pre-populated
  3. Add the new field or edit the existing fields, and click 'Define' button.
