Hi,
can someone confirm this please:
create an External Network Profile ..create a pool range of 5 IP addresses for example.
create a blueprint that uses the network reservation,
make sure that the network reservation has only 1 address free to use (deploy 4 vms to consume the IP addresses)
now deploy 3 vms from the blueprint.
you will get this error:
Request Failed after submitting 1 machines. Error requesting machine. The list of unallocated IP addresses for the network profile Net-Lab-961 has been exhausted.
Well, here i've found something strange on my environment:
1) the Request Process is in failed status
2) No VM is present under Items
that's ok but
3) the 1st(of 3) VM is present in vCenter Inventory
4) the 1st(of 3) VM has the ip address allocated in IP ranges of network profile
there is a way to delete the entry on the IP Ranges of Network Profile associated to the 1st VM?
a new data collection doesn't solve the problem
Thanks
Alan
If you go to Infrastructure > Machines > Managed Machines do you see the VM there?
Grant
