VCAC 6.0 : stuck in a redirect loop ? catalina.out log on the IA APP is showing " invalid condition value" and " the validated expression is false" : these error are matched in time with the attempt to log in

when launching UI page Capture.JPGthe validated expression is faulse illeagal argu.JPGI attempt to log in to the vcac core appliance by opening a browser to https://<VCAC-applicance name>.companyname.com/shell-ui-app/ and I login with adminstrator@vsphere.local and the password that I know is good

but what i get is just a "submit" button in the northwest corner of the screen and I can not click on it . the text after the URL keeps changing in the address bar  and the "donut" ( hourglass) keeps spinning

the address in the url box is being redirected tot he identity appliance

I have rebooted the windows server that run IAAS, the Identity vapp and the "CORE" VCAC vapp and i still get this in all browsers that I try  login failure Capture.JPG

That is 98% likely to be a time sync (NTP) issue. Ensure common NTP, then go one step further and ensure all hosts that the vCAC bits are running on are also in sync.

perfect, this issue was compounded by the the fact that the time server appliance external to vmware was being used  and causing the time to be out of sync, interestingly I let the time sync after setting this time source to host and it worked and I was able to login to the web interface

however if i put it back to pointing the the appliance it fails
