Hide Blueprint options and set defaults for AWS Instance

Hi,

We are trying to set defaults for the AWS instance Blueprint deployment. Is there any way to hide items such as the provision into , location and setting defaults.  I understand we can create a XAAS blueprint and do a workflow that does a catalog request, but that seems like such a roundabout way to do something to help simplify the provisioning workflow and make it useable for business users.

I am trying to do the same but with a vSphere VM.

I want to hide certain tabs as I will not be letting users edit/change these.

I assume it means editing some code/pages on vRA but doesn't anyone know what pages/code?

Using XaaS to "wrap" the existing catalog items is the best way currently. There are plans for better option in next release.

Thanks we resorted to using XAAS, the feature really needs to be implemented as an OOB option, good to hear its coming, hopefully.

Hello,

I was curious if you could post the outcome of your XaaS setup for the AWS blueprint. I am currently in the same scenario and am very green with XaaS forms.
