Looks like you are trying to connect to the vCAC vApp - you need to be connecting to the IaaS (Windows install) server.

Thanks .. I tried both but again it's not working .. and I am getting this error

com.vmware.o11n.plugin.dynamicops.ServiceException: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found : <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"><HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Not Found</TITLE><META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" Content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"></HEAD><BODY><h2>Not Found</h2><hr><p>HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.</p></BODY></HTML> (Workflow:Add a vCAC host / Add a VCAC host (item0)#54020)

I am not sure which URL I should use "vcac-iaas.vmcloud.com" or "vcac-iaas.vmcloud.com:7443"  i tried both with http and https as well and now I am getting error as

"Host name is invalid: vcac-iaas.vmcloud.com:7443 (Workflow:Add a vCAC host / Add a VCAC host (item0)#54020)"

I tried the URL in browser as well but it's not working .. :smileyconfused:

Help me Please :smileyplain:

Hi

Check please the Windows logs, if, under System Logs of the Event viewer, you see a NETLOGON Error with something like this: This computer could not authenticate with \\your_domain_dc\ and therefore ...... , remove the server from domain and add it again.

hope this helps.

Don't use port numbers on the end. Also, only enter the username (not domain\username). Under the domain field enter the domain name.

this seems to be a big issue . If i login to vco as a user , i can add a vcac host. However, when i used administrator@vsphere.local (which is what i believe i need to do to get it to work with vcac), i constantly get this error

going to open up a support ticket for this. Seems that nobody has a good answer for this.

When I add the IaaS host, I connect to it using the service account running the services.. not administrator@vsphere.local. The administrator account doesn't have any visibility into the IaaS side at all.

One thing I found also is the vCAC plugin needs updated to the 6.0.1 version, then you run the "Add vCAC Host" workflow, pointing at your vCAC appliance, then run the "Add IaaS Host" and point to your IaaS host.  Took me a SR to get that one figured out.
