sample code and API for ESX/ESXi kernel mode driver?

We are new at VMware and I am trying to figure out where is the documentation / sample code / API for the development of a kernel mode driver for a hardware storage solution that we would like to port to the VMware. Can anybody orient me toward the right place? Can't seem to locate what I am seeking for on the website.
For that type of development, you will need to be part of the VMware TAP program - http://www.vmware.com/partners/alliances/programs/tap_access.html There are various levels depending on what you're trying to build and there you will be able to get documentation, code samples, help, etc.
My question is that I can't seem to find around the developer pages on VMware website any documents or references about kernel driver development for VMware. Any idea where to go?
